The Student Transportation Association of Kentucky (S.T.A.K.) began in 1992 and was formerly known as the Kentucky Driver Trainer Association (K.D.T.A.). The organization’s name change in 2012 was to reflect the diverse group of transportation professionals served.
Annual conferences offer training for all school district transportation employees including school bus monitors, drivers, technicians, driver trainers, directors, finance directors and superintendents.
S.T.A.K.’s primary mission is to support and promote safe transportation of Kentucky school students.
